SUPPORT THE WORK OF GOD!

     At Houma Assembly we believe in giving as the Lord has prospered us. It is God that has given us all the ability to obtain wealth regardless of what proportion. As men, especially, we are taught to work. Just as a natural father should provide for his household, we as a mature brotherhood have practiced the actions of providing for the family of God. In response the flock of God has followed the example set before them.      

     As we read the Holy writ we can see that giving  is one of the many faithful characteristics of a righteous people. When we consider the greatest example of all, that God gave humanity his very best, anything I do in return would just be a reasonable service. 

     We have a very unique message in the Body of Christ that sets us apart from the rest of the religious world. We understand that in order for this message to continue we must preserve ourselves. We do this by the free will offering of the saints. Our ministry doesn't take a salary but we all give therefore we can teach and preach this gospel with no restraints. Having then this freedom our only motive is to speak the truth in love to whosoever is willing to hear.
